Abstract. Codependent Patterns in Men in Romantic Relationships: Gender, Attachment, and Emotional Regulation. This article analyzes the characteristics of codependent patterns in men in romantic relationships, taking into account contemporary changes in gender roles and male psychological adaptation. It examines theoretical approaches to codependency, the role of attachment style, emotional intelligence, and self-esteem. The article presents research findings linking anxious attachment and low self-esteem with codependent behavior in men. Diagnostic and psychotherapy methods are described, taking into account gender differences, the influence of the digital environment and culture, and recommendations for prevention and further research are provided.
