INTERACTION OF INFLUENCES OF PROFESSIONAL IDENTITY AND PERSONAL SELF-ATTITUDE ON THE BEHAVIOR OF FUTURE PSYCHOLOGISTS IN INTERPERSONAL CONFLICTS

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of the influence of professional identity and personal self-attitude on the choice of behavior strategies in interpersonal conflicts among psychology students. It is emphasized that for future specialists in the field of psychological counseling, the formation of a stable professional identity and positive self-attitude is a key resource for constructive interaction. An empirical study is described that revealed the relationship between the components of self-attitude (self-confidence, self-guidance, internal conflict, self-blame), the level of self-esteem and preferred strategies of behavior in conflicts (cooperation, compromise, avoidance, rivalry). The data obtained confirm that harmonious self-attitude and adequate self-esteem are associated with constructive strategies, while internal conflict and unstable professional identity increase the risk of destructive forms of behavior.

Key words: professional identity, self-attitude, self-esteem, interpersonal conflicts, behavior strategies, psychology students.
